Strong Leadership, built on experience driven by advocacy.

Experience that delivers results for members.

My leadership experience has been built through active participation in Regional Executive governance, strategic planning, and operational leadership within the Thompson North Okanagan region.

As a member of the Regional Executive, I have been directly involved in executive decision-making, policy development, and regional planning processes. This includes contributing to strategic direction, operational plans, and regional initiatives focused on strengthening member engagement, supporting stewards, and advancing workplace safety and professional practice.

I have participated in executive and planning meetings where priorities were set, regional policies were reviewed and updated, and decisions were made collaboratively to address emerging member needs and organizational challenges.

My experience also includes contributing to targeted regional initiatives, such as recruitment and mentorship strategies to strengthen the Regional Executive team and build leadership capacity within the membership.

In addition, I have been involved in broader system-level work through participation in committees such as the Regional Violence Prevention Committee, collaborating with employers, unions, and health authority representatives to address workplace safety and violence prevention at a regional level.

These experiences have provided me with a strong understanding of governance, strategic planning, and the importance of collaborative, informed decision-making. I bring a leadership approach that is grounded in accountability, clear communication, and a commitment to ensuring our region remains responsive, engaged, and focused on the needs of members.
